Retsch at the 5th European Conference on Pharmaceutics in Porto
From March 24 to 25, 2025, the 5th European Conference on Pharmaceutics took place in Porto, Portugal, under the motto “Innovative dosage forms and advanced technologies for modern therapeutics.” This renowned event is organized every two years by the APGI (International Society of Drug Delivery Sciences and Technology), the APV (International Association for Pharmaceutical Technology), and the SITELF (Italian Society of Pharmaceutical Technology and Legislation and Related Disciplines).

“The conference offered a successful mix of exciting presentations and many interesting discussions at our Retsch-Erweka booth in the exhibition area. We would love to come back!” summarizes Dr. Tanja Butt, Team Leader Product Management at Retsch.

With around 600 participants from industry, science, and research, the conference provided an excellent platform for exchange between experienced experts and young scientists. In addition to inspiring plenary and technical presentations, the focus was on current research results, poster presentations, and lively discussion. The accompanying industry exhibition provided insights into the latest developments in the fields of pharmaceutical ingredients, analytical technologies, devices, medical products, and much more.

The Retsch team took the opportunity to hold numerous technical discussions, make new contacts, and present current solutions for sample preparation and analysis. The positive response and great interest in our joint booth with Erweka once again demonstrate how important direct exchange between industry and research is.

We would like to thank all speakers, exhibitors, organizers, and participants for a thoroughly successful event and look forward to the upcoming APV conferences, workshops, and meetings!
